Community Service

Throughout the summer the C.I.T.s and Interns participate in many community service projects.  The top rated activity being our get togethers with the Variety Club Camp.  The C.I.T.s and Interns get together with the campers from the Variety Club for lunch,  a game of kickball and even some time in the pool!  The C.I.T.s and Interns have previously participated in activities such as writing letters to our troops,  creating pillow cases to be donated to the Laurel House,  making bookmarks to donate to local libraries,  sorting and wrapping packages at Cradles to Crayons and much more!

Recently,  the C.I.T.s and Interns have been working on decorating recycling bins to be placed strategically around camp.  Our goal is to encourage campers,  counselors,  staff and parents to recycle their cups and utensils after meals and snack time!
